How CuratorBits makes money, and why it never changes what we recommend. In plain language, updated as our commercial relationships change.

How we make money

CuratorBits is reader-supported. When you buy a product through one of our affiliate links, the brand pays us a commission — typically a percentage of the sale, sometimes a flat referral fee. This costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go direct.

We participate in affiliate programs including Amazon Associates, Awin (e.g. Cloudways) and Fiverr, among others. Affiliate links on our pages carry rel="sponsored" so search engines and browsers can identify them.

Affiliate commissions never influence our reviews

We evaluate the tool first, write the review, and only then add the affiliate link. Our verdict is built from the vendor's real terms, the most credible independent testing, and the consensus of long-term users — never from what a program pays. We have published critical reviews of tools whose affiliate programs we participate in, and we will continue to. Where a product we don't earn from is genuinely better, we say so and link it anyway.

Our full method — how we research, how we score, and how we keep commissions separate from verdicts — is on our methodology page.

Advertising & sponsored content

We may also accept advertising and sponsored content, and may add paid editorial features in the future. Any commercial relationship is disclosed at the top of the relevant page in plain language — not buried in a footer. Sponsored content is kept clearly separate from our independent editorial verdicts.

Regulatory compliance

Affiliate Disclosure

CuratorBits earns affiliate commissions when readers purchase through our links. We only recommend products after honest, independent evaluation. Disclosures comply with the U.S. FTC 16 CFR §255 endorsement guidelines and the EU Digital Services Act Article 26. As an Amazon Associate, CuratorBits earns from qualifying purchases.
